Yesterday I came across this list of the top five most reviewed books on

Five of the Best
The five top-rated Fiction books as reviewed by customers.

  1. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – 630 Customer Reviews
  2. Outlander – 341 Customer Reviews
  3. To Kill a Mockingbird – 130 Customer Reviews
  4. Phantom – 107 Customer Reviews
  5. A Fine Balance – 94 Customer Reviews

I wasn’t suprised to see Harry Potter at number one, or To Kill A Mockingbird at number four, and was really happy that my favourite book, A Fine Balance was at number five.

I was suprised that I had never heard of the number two book, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (released as Cross Stich in the UK)

I read some of the reviews, and it did look really interesting, so I’ve ordered a copy. Has anyone else read it? If so, let me know what you thought of it!

  1. Beth F says:

I’m a huge Gabaldon fan. It seems that you either love her or not. The first book is somewhat of a bodice-ripper, but the later books get more into straight historical fiction.

  2. Nise' says:

I am one who loves the Outlander series. I re-read them often. Enjoy.

  3. Betty says:

I heard great things about Gabaldon and the Outlander series, but I’m a bit hesitant whenever it comes to reading series! I don’t wanna get hooked!

  4. Care says:

Wow – I’m like Betty in that I tend to shy away from series books for the same reason. I’ve never heard of A Fine Balance, I’ll have to check it out.
