I loved that! It’s really nice to see the family photos and learn more about where you live. And I can’t wait for your review of Haweswater, I thought that was such a good book.

    1. Jackie says:

Laura, I loved Haweswater. I’m looking forward to writing the review. Hopefully I’ll have it up next week some time :-)

  2. Bibliophilebythesea says:

Jackie, that was wonderful. Loved it!

    1. Jackie says:

      Bibliophilebythesea, Thank you :-)

  3. Ifi says:

Lovely to know a little bit more about you Jackie. Are you able to keep track of where your subcribers are from? And on a side note, since when have you been blogging?

    1. Jackie says:

Ifi, I’ve been blogging for just over two years now. I’m not sure I can tell where my subscribers come from, but I’ve just looked at my visitor statistics. The countries break down like this:

34% UK, 30% US, 8% Canada, 5% Australia, and the rest made up from a wide range of countries around the world.

      1. Anonymous says:

That’s a lot from the US. Interesting. And then there is moi in southern Spain.

  4. Brenna says:

I loved your feature! Surry seems like a very nice place to have a family. Whenever I hear Surry I think about the movie The Holiday. I’m not sure if it was filmed in Surry, but if it was it is very pretty!

    1. Jackie says:

Brenna, Thank you for recommending The Holiday. I hadn’t heard of it before, but I’ve just looked it up and am very intrigued. I’ve added it to my film rental queue :-)

  5. Beth F says:

How fun. I’m off to look just as soon as I read about Richard and Judy.

  6. Kathleen says:

Thank you for sharing the link and a glimpse into your world. It was wonderful to see pictures of you and your family and to be able to associate a face with a blogger whose blog I have enjoyed so much!
