It’s Time for a Bloggiesta!!

This weekend Natasha from Maw Books is hosting another BLOGGIESTA!!!

The bloggiesta is a time when people come together to celebrate and improve their blogs. I love taking part as there is such a positive energy in the air.

.

If you have a blog then I highly recommend that you join in.

It is the perfect time to make big changes on your blogย – so many people will be doing similar things and everyone helps each other, giving help and advice all the time. I was amazed at how many hints and tips Iย picked up during previous bloggiestas.ย

Follow events on Twitter @bloggiesta and #bloggiesta

I’m not going to be setting any specific goals, but I will be doing some tinkering behind the scenes. Hopefully I’ll have a few improvements to show for my efforts by Monday!!

Gnoe, I’m afraid it isn’t that exciting. I’m keeping you in the dark more because it is dull than secret. You probably won’t even notice ๐Ÿ™‚

Bobbie, If you are after amazing then I’m afraid you are going to be very disappointed! I’m the sort of person who spends hours tinkering only to decide I don’t like the changes!!

Wow, you have a gorgeous blog. I love all of the sleek, clean lines and the neatness of it all. Simple yet eye catching. I will definitely be coming back for more. I’m finding a lot of fantastic blogs thanks to Bloggiesta!

Happy Bloggiesta, Jackie! Thanks for the information. I’m participating as a new blogger hoping to get lots of help from the blogging network and to make some new blogging friendships.

Iris, So far I’ve fiddled with a few categories, updated a few of my older posts with new information and thought about changing my sidebars a bit (but so far haven’t kept any of the changes!). Perhaps it would be better if I remained mysterious?!

You mean there’s time to do other things besides watch the World Cup? ๐Ÿ˜‰
Your blog looks great — thanks for all the work you put into it!

Mome Rath, I’m afraid I’m not a fan of the world cup. I won’t be watching any of it, so have more time than usual to blog/read. I hope you enjoy the football!!

Thanks — I do enjoy watching the World Cup. This one is particularly enjoyable since it’s in South Africa, so I’ll get to see a few familiar places. And I plan to get some World Cup reading in, too, with books by South African authors Coetzee and Gordimer.
