Oh, so hard!

D- War and Peace or Les Miserables?
E- Pretty sure this is Vanity Fair
F- Les Grandes Meaulnes or Frankenstein?
G- no idea

A. The first one looks like a James Fennimore Cooper book, but Last of the Mohicans doesn’t sound right.

D. The people are so little my poor eyes can’t see.
E. Holy Cow these are getting hard!

What fun!

A – Far From the Madding Crowd – Hardy

C – Bleak House – Dickens

D – War and Peace – Tolstoy

E – Pride and Prejudice – Austin

F – Frankenstein – Shelly

G – ?

Some of you are getting very close!

I can see you are struggling with G. Let me tell you that the cover has NOTHING to do with the contents of the book (as far a I know) It is a children’s classic, so just guess away!

I think you’ve just about worked it out, apart from G.

Can you think of a book which has nothing to do with a house in the middle of the land?

Sorry, this is the wrong place to put this, but it’s better than a book review. Anyhoooo, I’ve been given an award, which I’d like to forward on to you. Love reading your blog – think we read a fair few books that are similar/on similar lists, as well as, your blog’s extremely informative, as well as packed with great links! Thank you.

You can pick it up fromhere? Thanks!

G – Little Women or Charlotte’s Web?

I’m sure you’ll get there soon, but you need to head back in the Moby Dick direction.

Thanks for trying!!!

Huckleberry Finn!

I’m afraid not, although it is a coming of age story too.
Think Huckleberry Finn with added sea and sand.

Treasure Island!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

I knew you’d get there eventually!!

I couldn’t believe it when I saw that cover – it doesn’t reflect Treasure Island at all! All the others have treasure and pirates on the front.

I really should read it now. I had a quick look on the Internet and it sounds like a great story.
