I love reading prize winning books, so this was my favourite challenge. The books were of a very high standard, and I can recommend all of them (even though Out Stealing Horses and The Blind Assassin weren’t my favourites I think I’m in the minority, so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others). I rarely give five stars to books, so  please note that Fingersmith and Blindness have both been given this special accolade, and ensure that you get round to reading them at some point, if you haven’t already.

You are something else! Congrats to you! What is amazing is that I know you are a very critical reviewer, in a good way, so I do appreciate that we have some very well-scored reads here. With the exception of The Giver, which I’ve read, I would want to read all of these books.

Sandy – Thank you! And Thank you for recommending The Giver to complete my award BINGO! It was a great book for children, so I’m pleased I read it, and can now recommend it to young people.

Congratulations! That’s indeed a wonderful challenge. I might like it very much. At this point, I don’t know if I can take on another challenge, but.. you are tempting me, as I love prize winners a lot.

My most favourite challenges are Lost in Translation and The Orbis Terrarum. Also Once Upon a Time. If I joined this challenge, it would be a favourite as well, for sure. 😀

I too was underwhelmed by The Blind Assassin and Out Stealing Horses, good enough, but not Wow!

Still waiting for Fingersmith from the library.

That’s a great list of books you read there.

Congratulations on completing this challenge. Such a wonderful list of books completed. Your experience is inspiring me. I’m thinking about joining the next challenge. We’ll see.
